FORT SMITH, Ark. (AP) - The U.S. Marshals Museum will receive a $1 million donation from the family of the late Ross Pendergraft of Fort Smith.

The museum announced Tuesday that Donnie Pendergraft and her family are making the donation. The funds will be used to build a theater, which will be named for Ross Pendergraft.

The theater is to be a permanent exhibit at the museum with an eight-to-12-minute orientation to the Marshals Service and the museum.

Ross Pendergraft was executive vice president and chief operating officer of Donrey Media Group when he retired in 1994. He died in 1998.
