MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (AP) - West Virginia University officials will visit seven cities across the state over the next five weeks to provide information to prospective students and their parents.

The university says President Gordon Gee, Provost Joyce McConnell and Ken Blemings, dean of the Honors College, will attend many of the “Meet WVU” sessions.

The first one is set for Wednesday at the Culture Center on the state Capitol grounds in Charleston. Others are Sept. 29 at Oglebay Resort in Wheeling, Oct. 6 at Waterfront Place Hotel in Morgantown, Oct. 13 at Parkersburg Art Center, Oct. 20 at Clarion Hotel and Conference Center in Shepherdstown and Oct. 27 at Tamarack Conference Center in Beckley. All sessions begin at 6:30 p.m.
