BEEVILLE, Texas (AP) - Two men and a woman have been fatally shot at a South Texas home and authorities used prison dogs in the search for a suspect.

Bee County Sheriff Carlos Carrizales (kar-ee-SAHL’-ees) said Wednesday that investigators do not believe the killings were random.

The sheriff did not offer a possible motive for the gunfire Tuesday morning at a house in Beeville or provide details on anyone being sought.

Carrizales says authorities were summoned by a call from inside the home or from a neighbor. He did not specify who sought help.

The sheriff identified the victims as 33-year-old Barry Garcia, 18-year-old Marc Fuentes and 45-year-old Rosalinda Posada. They are not related.

The men were dead at the scene. Posada died at a hospital.

Beeville is 50 miles northwest of Corpus Christi.
