TEMPE, Ariz. (AP) - The Arizona Cardinals re-signed running back Kerwynn Williams to the practice squad Wednesday, a day after he was released from the practice squad.

Williams was elevated from the practice squad to the active roster last week, and had one carry for 3 yards Sunday in Arizona’s 48-23 victory at Chicago.

Williams appeared in five games for Arizona last season, running for 246 yards on 53 carries and catching two passes for 11 yards. He rushed for 100 yards on 19 carries in a victory over Kansas City on Dec 7, and had 75 yards on 15 carries the following week in a home win over St. Louis.
