PINE BLUFF, Ark. (AP) - Pine Bluff police are investigating the city’s ninth homicide this year.

Police Lt. David E. Price says 21-year-old Keith Wilbert was fatally shot around 2 a.m. Wednesday. Police discovered his body while responding to a report of a home invasion.

Investigators say robbery may have been a motive in the shooting. Police believe three men forced their way into the home and demanded money. After shooting Wilbert, the men ran off. Four other residents in the house were unhurt.

No descriptions of the suspects have been released by police. The investigation is ongoing.
