HILLTOWN, Pa. (AP) - Police say a man has been scamming small eastern Pennsylvania businesses with fake fire extinguisher inspections.

Hilltown Township police in Bucks County say 51-year-old Edwin Wolfe was last seen Sept. 11 at the Luxicure Affordable Luxury Nail Salon.

That’s where he told the manager he worked for a company called American Fire Protection and was there to inspect the store’s fire extinguisher - for a $23 cash fee.

When the manager balked, Wolfe allegedly became angry and said he’d charge double if he were forced to come back later.

The (Doylestown) Intelligencer (https://bit.ly/1Qy0RAh ) reports police determined it was Wolfe based on his description. That’s because he was arrested last month in Monroe County for allegedly pulling the same scam.

Police have an arrest warrant for Wolfe.
