MIAMI (AP) - Authorities are searching for two young South Florida sisters who are believed to be with their non-custodial parents.

Miami police say 4-year-old Keilyn Martinez and her 3-year-old sister Kristel were last seen early Sunday morning at the home where they lived with their grandmother, who has custody of the girls.

They are believed to be with their parents, Christy Vigo Rezkala and Erline Martinez.

The Miami Herald (https://hrld.us/1KAg6VS ) reports the grandmother told police the couple showed up for a middle of the night visit. She says she went to sleep and didn’t hear the girls when she woke up about 10 a.m. She waited until noon to enter their room and they were gone. She tried to call her daughter and got no answer.

She reported them missing on Monday.
