BULLHEAD CITY, Ariz. (AP) - One student has minor injuries after a Mohave Valley school bus went off the roadway and crashed through a concrete wall.

The Mohave Valley Daily News reports (https://bit.ly/1QyBL4p ) that the River Valley High School bus crashed outside a housing subdivision Tuesday morning.

Fire Marshal Don Gibson says emergency personnel triaged and evaluated the bus’s 25 passengers. One had minor injuries and was taken to a doctor.

District superintendent Riley Frei says parents had the option of picking up their children or sending them to school on a replacement bus. He says most students went straight to school.

The cause of the accident hasn’t been determined yet.

According to Frei, the bus driver says the vehicle didn’t respond after a left turn, causing it to keep turning and hit the wall.
