ATLANTA (AP) - Atlanta police are investigating the death of a teenager, who was gunned down during an argument in northwest Atlanta.

WXIA-TV reports that the shooting happened shortly after 1 a.m. Wednesday on Spellman Street, just north of Interstate 20.

CBS 46 reports that the teenager’s sister found her brother dead on the ground and called police. Authorities say he had been shot at least once in the head.

The boy’s name wasn’t immediately released.

Atlanta police Lt. Charles Hampton told reporters that investigators were using police dogs to search for evidence in the neighborhood.
