KENOSHA, Wis. (AP) - An Illinois man who was driving drunk the wrong way on a southern Wisconsin highway is sentenced to eight years for causing a crash that killed a father and son.

Authorities say 36-year-old Brian Smith of Lindenhurst, Illinois, was driving a pickup truck that struck a car and killed 52-year-old Paul Reese and 29-year-old Michael Reese, both of Lake Geneva in December of 2014.

The Kenosha News (https://bit.ly/1KDCZI0 ) reports Smith was traveling the wrong way on Highway 50 in Kenosha County when he hit the Reeses’ car. His blood alcohol content was 0.17.
