PHILADELPHIA (AP) - Two brothers aren’t meeting Pope Francis when he visits Philadelphia this weekend, but they’re hoping their contribution to the trip appeals to his sweet tooth.

Ryan and Eric Berley of the popular city shop Franklin Fountain whipped up a batch of caramelized banana ice cream for Francis while he’s staying at St. Charles Borromeo Seminary.

The ice cream will appear in the shape of the seminary, using a mold from 1940.

The executive chef at St. Charles Borromeo said the ice cream will accompany the dulce de leche cake he is making for the pope.

Ryan Berley tells the Philadelphia Daily News (https://bit.ly/1FhMNe6 ) the chef has it on good word that they’ve made the pontiff’s favorite ice cream flavor.
