LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) - A Cabot man has been sentenced to 25 years in federal prison for engaging in sexual activities with a 5-year-old boy and producing child pornography.

Twenty-eight-year-old Matthew Hiner was sentenced Wednesday. He had pleaded guilty in June to a charge of sexual exploitation of a child.

According to prosecutors, Hiner was arrested in 2013 in Cabot after being caught online by an undercover officer, who was a part of a child-exploitation task force in Washington D.C.

Authorities say Hiner posted photographs of himself engaging in a sex acts with the boy.

Hiner was also given a lifetime of probation after his release as part of his plea agreement.
