GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (AP) - Authorities have released the name of a pedestrian who was hit and killed by a train in western Colorado.

The Mesa County coroner’s office identified the man Thursday as 18-year-old Antonio David Carmona, of Grand Junction.

The Grand Junction Daily Sentinel reports (https://goo.gl/gXLvXq ) sheriff’s deputies were called to the scene in Clifton at about 11:30 p.m. Tuesday and found Carmona dead.

Investigators have not said what the teen was doing on the tracks.
