TOPEKA, Kan. (AP) - In a Sept. 23 story, The Associated Press wrote in its headline that an expert said restrictions on hydraulic fracturing coincided with a reduction in the magnitude of earthquakes felt in south-central Kansas. The headline should have made it clear that it was restrictions on injection operations associated with all oil and natural gas mining operations in south-central Kansas, not just hydraulic fracturing.
