PHOENIX (AP) - Gasoline prices around Arizona this week are at their lowest level in five months.

Officials with Triple-A Arizona said Thursday that the average statewide price for unleaded regular gasoline is $2.37 a gallon. That’s down by more than a nickel from last week.

This week’s national average is $2.28 per gallon, a decrease of more than a penny from last week.

Triple-A analysts say prices around Arizona should continue to fall due to the changeover to cheaper winter-blend gasoline.

Tucson has Arizona’s lowest average gasoline price at $2.20 a gallon and Flagstaff the highest at $2.69 per gallon.

South Carolina has the lowest average gas prices among states in the continental U.S. at $1.93 a gallon with California has the highest at $3.01.
