NEW YORK (AP) - Police say a motorcyclist was killed after crashing into a street sign and a utility pole in Queens.

The 38-year-old victim was going east on Cypress Hills Street near the Jackie Robinson Parkway when he fell to the ground and struck the sign and pole Wednesday evening.

The man was taken to a hospital where he died.

His name was withheld pending family notification.
