NEW YORK (AP) - New York City police are seeking the public’s help in identifying the suspects who assaulted a transit worker earlier this month.

It happened on Sept. 15 at a Bay Ridge Avenue station in Brooklyn.

The 52-year-old female victim worked for the Metropolitan Transportation Authority.

Police say she observed a man and a woman arguing with each other and then with another MTA worker.

The victim approached and advised the MTA worker not to get involved and to call police. Police say at that point the female suspect punched her in the head.

The couple then fled.

The victim refused medical attention.
