CINCINNATI (AP) - It’s not just for football and chicken dances.

The Archdiocese of Cincinnati says it has arranged to show Pope Francis’ speech Thursday morning to Congress on the big video screen above Cincinnati’s Fountain Square. The downtown square has hosted viewing gatherings for games of the National Football League’s Cincinnati Bengals and soccer’s World Cup matches, among other sports events and movies.

The square was also the site last week for the annual Oktoberfest Zinzinnati’s “world’s largest chicken dance” celebration.

The Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Cincinnati has nearly 500,000 Catholics in a 19-county area.
