AUGUSTA, Ga. (AP) - Promoters of an east Georgia concert aimed at raising money for U.S. troops have announced the lineup of bands, which includes headliner Kid Rock.

The MASH (Music for Action Service Hope) concert is planned for Oct. 25 at Evans Towne Center Park in Evans, near Augusta.

Organizers say Shooter Jennings with Waymore’s Outlaws; The Whiskey Gentry; and Ray Fulcher will open the show before Kid Rock takes the stage.

The Augusta Chronicle reports (https://bit.ly/1WkXxMU) that the event was created by Friends with Benefits to support other similar military-based charities like Operation Finally Home, The Fisher House, Turn Back the Block and the Augusta Warrior Project.
