LOGAN, Utah (AP) - A hiker was rescued after she fell between 40 and 100 feet in Providence Canyon.

The Herald Journal reports (https://bit.ly/1YDsU7r) an unidentified 25-year-old woman was with a group that called for help when she fell Wednesday night.

Search and rescue volunteers reached her within half an hour and used a rope to lower her to an ambulance. She was taken to the hospital with unspecified injuries.
