SUPERIOR, Wis. (AP) - The University of Wisconsin-Superior is partnering with a university in Turkey to promote student exchanges.

An agreement signed Wednesday with Kafkas University in Kars, Eastern Anatolia means initially that qualifying Turkish students will come to UW-Superior and after a year of English language immersion, they’ll finish with two more years in computer science.

WDIO-TV (https://bit.ly/1VcgSNK ) reports Superior Chancellor Renee Wachter says the agreement could eventually be extended to faculty exchanges. The first Turkish students are expected in 2018 or 2019.
