WESTMINSTER, Vt. (AP) - A school choir in southern Vermont will be serenading the Red Sox and the Tampa Bay Rays at Fenway Park in Boston.

The Rutland Herald reports (https://bit.ly/1LQ4Mor ) the Kurn Hattin Select Choir in Westminster was selected by the Red Sox just before Labor Day to sing the national anthem before Thursday’s game.

Kurn Hattin Homes is a private school for children in need. The 35 singers are all ages 10 to 14.

Dan Lyons, entertainment manager for the Red Sox, says he chose the group because of its talent. He says one of the themes at Fenway this year has been “Calling All Kids.”

Music director Lisa Bianconi says it’s a “dream come true” for the students to be on the field at Fenway Park.
