BRANDYWINE HUNDRED, Del. (AP) - Authorities say one baby couldn’t wait to come into the world and was born right in front of a Delaware fire station.

New Castle County officials say paramedics responded to a call early Friday for a woman in labor on the front pad of the Brandywine Hundred Fire Company. Officials say the paramedics walked outside the station to find the woman in her vehicle preparing to deliver her baby.

Paramedics delivered a healthy baby boy in the woman’s vehicle. Officials say paramedics took the woman and her newborn to Christiana Hospital in stable condition.
