ROCHESTER, N.Y. (AP) - State police say a 23-year-old man was drunk when he was stopped for driving 120 mph in a 55-mph speed zone in Rochester.

Troopers say they pulled over Christopher McCrea of Rochester on Wednesday after he was clocked going 120 mph. The location of the stop wasn’t included in the state police news release on the arrest.

Police say he was charged with speeding, driving while intoxicated and driving on a suspended learner’s permit for failure to pay child support and unanswered tickets.

Troopers say he also had eight oxycodone pills, which led to an additional charge of criminal possession of a controlled substance.

It couldn’t be determined if McCrea has a lawyer who could comment on the charges.
