CONCORD, N.H. (AP) - The family of a New Hampshire man who died at a former medical facility has filed a wrongful death suit alleging neglect.

New Hampshire Public Radio reports (https://bit.ly/1R5WVrt ) the family filed the suit against the Lakeview Neurorehabilitation Center and its medical director.

The claims stem from 22-year-old Kory Horion’s death in 2012. The lawsuit says that Horion, who has Asperger’s syndrome and a seizure disorder, was healthy when he was admitted.

But his health spiraled when he allegedly did not receive medication or medical treatment. He died 72 days later.

The suit says staff members saw Horion naked on the floor on the morning of his death but did not call for help.

Lakeview has said that the death was not due to neglect.

The Effingham facility for people with brain injuries has shut down.
