SHERIDAN, Wyo. (AP) - The U.S. Forest Service is proposing a new ATV trail in the Bighorn Mountain that would connect Arrowhead Lodge, Bear Lodge and the Elk View Inn.

Bighorn National Forest Tongue Ranger District Ranger Amy Ormseth tells the Sheridan Press (https://bit.ly/1gThLgy ) that comments have been mixed on the proposed trail, which would run south of U.S. Highway 14A and across U.S. Highway 14 in the Burgess Junction area.

She says the proposed trail would connect existing trails and allow for safe use of ATVs by underage drivers. In Wyoming, a driver does not need a license or license plate on an ATV on trails.
