ATLANTA (AP) - Authorities say an oil tanker and tractor trailer drove off a bridge and landed on the busy Georgia 400.

Local news media report that the Georgia Department of Transportation closed northbound lanes after the two trailers plunged off I-285 onto 400 on Friday afternoon. The tractor trailer was found overturned on the highway. The tanker carrying 8,000 gallons of fuel ended up on its side.

Both truck drivers and a driver of another vehicle were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Sandy Springs police said in a statement that the tanker had no leaks.

A department statement issued shortly after noon on Friday says all lanes are closed. All lanes of eastbound Interstate 285 in the area also have been closed.

Drivers are urged to seek other routes.
