MADISON, Wis. (AP) - A Madison man has been charged with taking videos under the skirts of unsuspecting women.

Forty-year-old Steven Johanowicz is facing four felony counts accusing him of shooting cellphone video up the skirts of women at Fresh Market in Madison and on State St. He’s also accused of secretly recording a friend taking a shower during a visit to his home.

A criminal complaint says Johanowicz told police he’s addicted to pornography and “upskirting.” Police say a search of his computer uncovered about 300 upskirt videos.

A bill that would make “upskirting” a stand-alone felony in Wisconsin stalled in a state Senate committee earlier this year.
