LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) - A 38-year-old man has been sentenced to one to two years in prison after nearly 100 pounds of marijuana were found in his car during a traffic stop in Lincoln.

The Lincoln Journal Star (https://bit.ly/1KG1pR4 ) reports Lyndy Norman was sentenced Thursday. He had been found guilty of possession with intent to deliver.

According to prosecutors, Norman was stopped by a Lancaster County Sheriff’s deputy for a traffic violation on Dec. 12. Authorities say about 97 pounds of marijuana in nine garbage bags were found during a search of the vehicle. Seven bags were in the trunk and two were in the back seat.
