SEATTLE (AP) - The Seattle school district has announced the make-up days students and teachers will be in school to replace the strike days they missed.

The district and the teachers union agreed to give up part of mid-winter break and extended the school year until June 24.

The district has to make up six days from the strike.

With the school board’s approval, the following days will now be regular school days: Oct. 9, Jan. 29, Feb. 17-19, June 24.

State law requires a 180-day school year.
