CHRISTIANSBURG, Va. (AP) - A bear - or maybe it was two bears - caused havoc in Christiansburg.

The Roanoke Times reports (https://bit.ly/1jf1BzO ) that the front door of a tile company was found broken open Thursday morning. Company executive Bruce Jenrette says glass was “all over the place.” He called police and waited outside. When officers turned on the lights, they saw bear tracks.

Apparently the bear broke in, wandered around and left through the same door.

The same morning about a mile away, a tractor-trailer hit a bear on Interstate 81, causing two other vehicles to collide. One person was taken to a hospital. State Police Sgt. Rick Garletts didn’t know the extent of the person’s injuries, and he couldn’t say whether it was the same bear that broke into the tile company.
