COLLEGEVILLE, Minn. (AP) - One of the most storied rivalries in small college football will get some special attention this weekend.

Before St. Thomas plays at St. John’s on Saturday afternoon, ESPN’s SportsCenter on the Road show will set up shop and broadcast live from the all-male campus tucked into the woods of central Minnesota. The national cable network’s program will air between 6 a.m. and 8 a.m. local time. Kickoff at Clemens Stadium is at 1 p.m.

The Tommies and Johnnies first played in 1901. Both teams are undefeated, so the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference race will be impacted by the result. St. John’s is currently ranked eighth in the country in the D3football.com poll, followed by St. Thomas at 12th.
