SCHENECTADY, N.Y. (AP) - A 45-year-old man has been arrested in a fatal stabbing at a municipal housing complex in Schenectady.

The Times Union of Albany reports (https://bit.ly/1LFzlS9 ) that Stanley Morris has been arrested on a murder charge in connection with the death of 28-year-old James Jackson on Friday.

Jackson was stabbed shortly before 4 p.m. at the Yates Village complex.

He was taken to an emergency room, where he was pronounced dead.

Authorities say Morris’ 1-year-old son was with him at the time of the stabbing. The child was turned over to his mother.



No information on an attorney for Morris was available.
