CONCORD, N.H. (AP) - Non-profits, businesses and families are teaming up for a rally in support of people living in or seeking recovery from drug addiction.

Hope for New Hampshire Recovery is holding the “We Believe in Recovery Rally” on Saturday in Concord at White Park. The event begins at 11:30 a.m. and will feature live music, speakers and artwork. The goal of the rally is to celebrate people who have been touched by addiction or recovery.

Advocates, families and others have been raising awareness around drug treatment and recovery as New Hampshire faces a substance abuse crisis. More than 300 people died from drug overdoses in 2014. Lawmakers and presidential candidates say stemming drug abuse is a top priority.

New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, a GOP presidential candidate, plans to attend the rally.
