WASHINGTON (AP) - Washington is hosting an all-night contemporary art festival.

The event, “Art All Night: Nuit Blanche DC,” begins at 7 p.m. Saturday and lasts until 3 a.m. Sunday morning. The free festival includes art exhibits, street performances, DJs and musicians at indoor and outdoor venues. Performers include an all-women percussion drum band and another group that includes fire dancers, acrobats and stilt performers.

The festival includes events in Dupont Circle, Shaw, North Capitol, H Street and Congress Heights. This is the fifth year of the event, which is inspired by the Nuit Blanche festival in Paris.
