WASHINGTON (AP) - Police in Washington are warning of road closures in advance of the Turkish Festival in the city.

Police say streets will be closed from 4 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Sunday.

Police say that the streets that will be closed are Pennsylvania Ave NW between 14th Street NW and 12th Street NW and 13th Street NW between Pennsylvania Ave NW and E Street NW. Police say motorists should consider alternative routes.

The festival takes place between 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. Sunday and includes traditional Turkish music and folkdance performances as well as Turkish food and games and activities for children. There will also be a Turkish coffee house with fortune tellers reading fortunes from coffee grinds.
