LEWES, Del. (AP) - State Police in Delaware say they’ve arrested a serial bagel store burglar, and he now faces half a dozen charges.

The Delaware State Police said Saturday that Jermaine C. Maker was arrested for stealing from the Surf Bagel Restaurant on three different occasions. Police say they were called Friday after the restaurant reported an exterior storage refrigerator had been broken into and several boxes of frozen food valued at over $600 had been stolen.

Police say food was taken at two different times Thursday and early Friday.

Police say Maker was arrested Saturday and faces charges including burglary and theft. Police say he is being held at the Sussex Correctional Institution in lieu of $9,000.00 secured bond. It was unclear if he has an attorney.
