OMAHA, Neb. (AP) - Looking for a fun fall activity that’s a change from pumpkins and corn mazes? Go fly a kite.

Omaha’s parks department is holding a Fly Into Fall Festival from noon until 5 p.m. Saturday at Lawrence Youngman Lake in west Omaha. Admission is free.

Attendees can enjoy giant kite flying demonstrations, a rock wall, bounce houses, face painting, free fishing, a kayaking demonstration and live music.

Food trucks also will selling tacos and barbecue, and free popcorn and snow cones will be available. Kite exhibit host organizations will be on site with hands-on activity booths, and Cabela’s will provide free fishing rods and bait throughout the afternoon while supplies last.

Parking is free at Methodist Women’s Hospital, with Omaha Parks and Recreation providing shuttle service to the festival.
