GALVESTON, Texas (AP) - Experts say a female harbor seal named Presley has died at Moody Gardens in Galveston.

The Galveston County Daily News (https://bit.ly/1FpkPNy ) reported Saturday that Presley, one of two harbor seals at the aquarium, apparently had stomach trouble.

Moody Gardens spokesman Greg Whittaker says 10-year-old Presley was unexpectedly found dead last week in the exhibit. Whittaker says harbor seals usually live between 25 and 30 years.

Presley was born at the Memphis Zoo in 2005. She arrived at Moody Gardens in 2006 to be a companion to another harbor seal, Porter. The pair in 2011 had a pup, named Riley. Riley is now at the Gladys Porter Zoo in Brownsville.

Whittaker says Moody Gardens will likely try to acquire another harbor seal.
