ATLANTA (AP) - Officials say a worker has been rescued after falling into a 30-foot well behind a home in Atlanta.

Atlanta fire department spokesman firefighter Cortez Stafford says the man was rescued Saturday morning.

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports (https://on-ajc.com/1VfIwPe ) the worker was in the well for about an hour before being plucked out. The report says the worker, who wasn’t immediately identified, suffered non-life threatening injuries.

Officials say the worker had been called to cover a well behind the home.
