BUNKER HILL, Ind. (AP) - Police have charged two men with stealing more than 600 narcotic pills from a north central Indiana assisted living facility.

Police say an armed, masked man entered the Caring Hands Assisted Living Facility in Bunker Hill about 2:30 a.m. Thursday and demanded a nurse open a locked cabinet where narcotics were stored. The man took about 640 pills and fled the scene.

The (Logansport) Pharos-Tribune reports (https://bit.ly/1G9bqo1 ) police traced a getaway vehicle to a Peru home and arrested its resident, 24-year-old Wallace Taylor, and a former nurse at the facility, 23-year-old Caleb Sullivan of Lafayette, on charges including burglary, robbery, theft, and dealing in a controlled substance.

Both men were lodged in the Miami County Jail. It wasn’t clear whether they have attorneys who might comment on the case.
