CINCINNATI (AP) - The sound of gunfire echoing off buildings in downtown Cincinnati fortunately was the work of filmmakers - not real-life bad guys - as production on a new action-thriller gets under way.

The Cincinnati Enquirer reports (https://cin.ci/1JwU18Q ) that a crew set up on Fourth Street on Saturday to shoot scenes for “Marauders,” a movie starring Bruce Willis. Bystanders hoping to catch a glimpse of the Hollywood icon were disappointed. The 60-year-old Willis wasn’t on the set.

The newspaper reports that a crew spent hours filming a scene in simulated rain of a masked man pulling someone from a car. The film is about an elite crew of bank robbers who are chased by a suicidal FBI agent.

Film shoots for the movie will take place throughout Cincinnati during October.
