AKRON, Ohio (AP) - A northeast Ohio medical examiner has ruled the death of a man whose body was found in a wooded area last week a homicide.

The Akron Beacon-Journal reports (https://bit.ly/1iUBRc9 that the Summit County Medical Examiner’s Office has concluded that 26-year-old James McNeal of Barberton died from blunt force trauma to the head.

A man walking his dog found McNeal’s body in a wooded area in Akron on Thursday morning and called police.

Akron police are investigating.
