GRETNA, Neb. (AP) - The Nebraska Game and Parks Commission has scheduled a certification workshop for volunteer youth fishing instructors.

It is set for 9 a.m. to noon on Oct. 17 at Ak-Sar-Ben Aquarium, which is situated at Schramm Park State Recreation Area, a few miles south of Interstate 80, Exit 432.

The workshop is open to anyone age 16 and up who wants to learn how to help new and novice anglers. Volunteers will have access to Game and Parks’ loaner fishing equipment and educational materials for events, as well as receive program incentives.
