ARLINGTON, Mass. (AP) - Police in Massachusetts have arrested a woman who police say fled the scene of two accidents that injured three people.

Arlington police say a 35-year-old Winthrop woman had five passengers in her car, including two children, when her 2014 Kia Optima slammed head-on into a 2003 Ford Explorer on Saturday. Police say she was drunk.

Police say a 33-year-old Somerville man was ejected from the Explorer and hospitalized with life-threatening injuries.

Officials say she fled the scene of that accident, ran a stop sign, and hit the driver’s side of a 2010 Nissan Murano.

The driver and passenger of the Murano were treated for injuries at the scene.

Police say she then hit an unoccupied, parked Ford F350.

She faces charges including leaving the scene of personal injury, among others.
