An Ocala man is accused of attempting to hire someone to lure his former friend into the wood to kill him.

The Ocala Star-Banner (https://bit.ly/1VlwHlj ) reports 47-year-old Robert Fink was arrested Sunday after the Ocala Police Department was contacted late Saturday about the plot.

Lt. Billy Woods says the caller told investigators Fink offered him money to help kill 21-year-old Corey Henley of Ocala. Investigators had the man set up a time to meet with Fink. When Fink showed up for the meeting, he was arrested.

Fink faces a charge of solicitation to commit first-degree murder.

Woods says more details will be available on Monday.

Fink remained in the Marion County Jail early Monday. Records don’t indicate whether he’s hired a lawyer.
