ARGYLE, N.Y. (AP) - Police say a woman was hospitalized after an accident left her pinned under her car in rural upstate New York.

Washington County authorities responded to the Hinds Road area in Argyle at around 10:15 a.m. Sunday.

Police say 60-year-old Colleen Ramos was trapped under her 1989 Ford Festiva. Ramos had been outside of the car when it began to roll off the rock ledge.

She attempted to stop it from rolling and became caught under the front bumper as the car was still falling off the ledge.

Police say a big rock at the bottom of the ledge appeared to have allowed enough room between the car and the ground to prevent Ramos from being crushed.

She was taken to the Glens Falls Hospital with minor leg injuries.
