GREENBURGH, N.Y. (AP) - Roadways around the site of a large nursery in Westchester County remain closed following a raging fire.

The blaze at the Sprainbrook Nursery in Greenburgh erupted at 9 p.m. Sunday. It sent a plume of smoke that could be seen for miles late into the night Sunday.

No one was injured in the fire.

The family-run nursery was the site of another fire in December in which several 50-pound propane tanks exploded.

The Journal News (https://lohud.us/1KFfn7T ) says the 71-year-old nursery has struggled in recent years due to competition from big box stores.

It closed briefly in 2012 and then reopened as an organic operation.
