LEMINGTON, Vt. (AP) - State police say a trucker is dead following a crash on Vermont Route 102 in the Northeast Kingdom town of Lemington.

Police say the crash occurred at about 12:15 p.m. Monday when the north-bound vehicle went off the highway on a sharp curve, hitting a power pole and then rolling onto the driver’s side.

The name of the victim won’t be released until his family has been notified.

The driver was taken to Colebrook Hospital in New Hampshire where he was pronounced dead.

The investigation into the cause of the crash is continuing.
