SALINAS, Calif. (AP) - Police are investigating a triple homicide that occurred in Central California.

The killing happened about 9:30 p.m. Monday in Salinas.

Police on Tuesday were seeking at least two suspects in connection to the slayings.

No arrests have been made. A motive was not yet known. The case is being investigated as gang-related.

When police arrived on the scene, they found a man and a woman inside a car in an apartment complex parking lot.

They were later identified as 22-year-old Brando Lerma and 20-year-old Brianna Gossett.

They were pronounced dead at the scene.

A third victim, later identified as 17-year-old Bryan Hernandez, was found in the same parking lot outside the car.

He was taken to Natividad Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.

Police say all three were shot multiple times.
